Key Responsibilities
As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:
* Design and Implement Cloud Security Compliance Controls:
* Work closely with the client to understand their risk and regulatory requirements.
* Design, document, and implement cloud security compliance controls for platforms like GCP, Oracle OCI, and Salesforce.
* Design and Implement CI/CD Security Controls:
* Ensure compliance with best practice baselines (e.g., CIS) and the client’s risk and regulatory requirements.
*Design, document, and implement CI/CD security controls in technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Develop and Maintain Information Security Policies:
* Establish and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry regulations, best practices, and the client’s risk management and compliance programs.
* Provide Expert Guidance and Support:
* Offer expert advice and guidance on information security matters.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of security controls.
* Guide Information Security Engineers:
* Advise information security engineers on the effective implementation of security tooling for security monitoring.
* Coordinate incident response activities.
* Stay Updated and Contribute to Security Projects:
* Keep abreast of the latest security threats, technologies, and industry regulations.
* Contribute to information security projects to enhance the client’s security posture continually.
Who are you?
* Self-Organized and Analytical:
* Capable of organizing and managing your own work, setting timelines, targets, and providing progress reports.
* Able to analyze potential solutions, compare them, and advise on the best choices based on established criteria.
* Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills:
* Comfortable working and communicating with diverse teams and individuals across different countries.
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
* Detail-Oriented and Documented:
* Possess a good capacity for thorough analysis, documenting criteria, pros and cons, and potential choices.
Preferred Technical Skills:
* Knowledge/experience with GCP, Oracle OCI, and Salesforce is advantageous.
* Familiarity with SIEM solutions/Darktrace is a plus.
* Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is desirable.
* Knowledge/experience with CMDB solutions, including security attributes, is an advantage.
Certifications and Experience:
* Relevant certifications in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
* Experience with industry standards and regulations such as ISO/IEC 2700x, NIST CSF, KRITIS, and GDPR is preferred.
* Fluent English (Written and Verbal):
Proficient in English (working language) for effective communication.
Soft Skills:
* Team Player: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Experience with Agile (Scrum): Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
* Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Analytical and Curious: Possess good analytical skills and a curious mindset.
* Proactive and Eager to Learn: Show proactivity and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of information security.
