Job Description
The Digital Portfolio Enabler is responsible for the operational management of the portfolio consolidating all Digital and Automation technology initiatives within Integrated Supply Chain (ISC).

It is a key transverse role, which requires proactively shaping the portfolio, ensuring consistency across the range of initiatives, and to provide specific support to Digital projects execution – ultimately facilitating and securing “best in class” delivery and benefits realization.

Main objectives are:

  • Execute portfolio management processes (plan alignment, milestones reviews, benefits tracking, etc.) and manage associated content (e.g. overview of solutions and deployments) – as a true “enabler” of ISC digitalization
  • Facilitate demand management and shape new initiative (requirements, delivery model, etc.)
  • Provide specific support to projects delivery (facilitation, follow-up, standardization, best practices implementation, etc.) and promote innovation
  • Plan and execute communication activities
  • Manage portfolio supporting tools and systems

Responsibilities Portfolio management
  • Define, monitor and review an evolving set of initiatives (portfolio) supporting ISC Digital and Automation journey
  • Execute and optimize portfolio governance (including interfaces with IM, Procurement, sites, etc.)
  • Conduct regular review meetings with key project stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain projects execution methodology, in close cooperation with IM
  • Manage Digital and Automation technology solutions overview and consolidated deployment planning (overall and per region/site)
  • Perform financial reporting and benefits tracking
  • Continuously improve processes and content – advocating agile mindset

Demand management:
  • Identify, manage, and facilitate prioritisation of business demand
  • Work closely with ISC stakeholders to capture business requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and develop initiatives (including proposed delivery model and business case)
  • Assist in assessing initiatives for business return, Total Cost of Ownership, risk, and benefit realization

Support to project delivery:
  • Provide support to respective Digital and Automation technology initiatives
  • Facilitate coordination with the various project stakeholders
  • Follow-up and proactively address delivery issues
  • Proactively advocate “best in class” delivery improvements and promote innovation as well as adoption of standard project management methodology
  • Ensure smooth transition from projects to “Business As Usual”

Portfolio supporting tools and systems:
  • Capture portfolio information in supporting tools and systems
  • Ensure tracker is up-to-date with latest Digital initiatives deployments
  • Structure and maintain Digital and Automation team SharePoint

Additional responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of the Digital and Automation strategy within ISC
  • Manage and develop a collaborative relationship with key ISC and IM stakeholders

Job Requirements
Essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and requested skills.
  • Degree, preferably Master, within Business Administration / Engineering / Computer Science
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience (project planning, management and execution in an international environment)
  • Appetite for Digital opportunities: Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, augmented reality, advanced analytics, etc.
  • Self-driven and proven capabilities in identifying, initiating and engaging in change activities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical abilities, financial acumen and Excel skills
  • “Can do” attitude, ability to work independently and define and develop own targets and tasks
  • Working well under pressure and can juggle several different projects and responsibilities with ease and composure
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Key activities and responsibilities
  • Support in the capacity of BSA  in the system automation of customer’s trading activities
  • Knowledge and previous practical experience with Use case functional specifications is a knock out
  • Collect and analyse the needs regarding the customer’s systems, working closely together with departments and mainly internal stakeholders
  • Critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high-level information into detailed summaries to facilitate a more easier general understanding, and determine and propose solutions
  • Translate solutions into functional designs
  • Support the operational team with training and issues resolution
  • Assist the test team by transferring knowledge, giving input on test strategy and participating in review sessions
  • Pro-actively assist the Project Manager and others whenever needed during the course of the project
  • Read, write and revise documents

Education and experience
  • You have a degree in IT, Engineering, Science or equivalent.
  • Having worked a minimum of 3 years in a (Business) System Analysis or similar role,
  • You have developed a strong ability to work in a team.
  • Being a team-player, you are at the same time autonomous, self-motivated and able to work independently.
